A Fight That Could Change Everything

At UFC 241,A Historic rematch will be taken place between Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic for the Heavyweight title. This fight is taken place nearly a year after their first fight at UFC 226, Where D.C knocked out Stipe in the first round to become the Heavyweight champion, also D.C was the Light-Heavyweight champion at the time and It cemented D.C's Legacy as one of the GOAT'S of MMA, becoming a Double Champ. The fight didnt sit will with Stipe, demanding an immediate rematch and also excusing D.C of Eye pokes during the fight and saying he's not the true champion. It was a rematch or nothing esle, as Stipe stepped aside and waited for the his title shot, but it never came to be. Since Then D.C has defended the HW title once against Derrick Lewis at UFC 230 and adding another accomplishment to his carrer, being the First fighter to ever defend both the HW and LHW title. That probably Fired Stipe up more seeing D.C defend the title, while he sat out and was passed by. Now The UFC where looking to Book at Potential Super-Fight Between D.C and Brock Lesnar at some point, as the two went at each other post D.C's win over Stipe.The Fans and The UFC loved it and they made it clear that, that was the next Fight for Both D.C and Lesnar. A few months passed with The Super-Fight still in the air, but to fans surpise(maybe not) Brock Lesnar retire from MMA and the fight was off. Now leaving The door open to the rematch with Stipe. The Fight was announced earlier this year that D.C and Stipe will fight again for the HW title, Stipe got his rematch after sitting out for a year and now wants his title back. It's the biggest HW fight in UFC history and is more then just a rematch. With the Jon Jones Trilogy always being talked about with D.C, with a win over Stipe, There is no doubt that Jones and D.C 3 will happen,but what happens if Stipe wins? Could Stipe then challenge Jones at Heavyweight? Their is more to this fight then just the HW title, this is about Legacy and status, Stipe wants to reclaim the title and be crowned The Baddest Man On The Planet again and become a Two Time Champion. While D.C wants to add another victory onto his resume and Cement himself as The GOAT of MMA once and for all(of course he's already). It's a big Fight and the aftermath could change the course of UFC. I can not wait for this fight, UFC 241 is shaping up to be a one of the best cards of the year.
