It didnt take long for people to throw out Demian's name.
Demian Maia is One of the greatest Grapplers in the history of the UFC.Maia has said before that Retirement is around the corner for him, and it could be sooner then we all expected. He has competed twice for UFC Gold, The first against Anderson Silva in 2010 for the MW title and then again against Tyron Woodley for the WW Title. Sadly Maia lost both times. After Debuting back in 2007, it's been along carrer for Maia and it is unfortunately that its nearly time for him to hang up the gloves. Can he go out on Top with a Win over Ben Askren?
Unlike Maia, who keeps himself to himself and doesn't trash talk, Ben Askren is the opposite. Askren is an elite Wrestler, who has Won titles in both ONE Championship and Bellator and remained undefeated up until his KO loss to Jorge Masvidal. Ben likes to trash talk and get under people's skin and in there head, hence why, when he was finally signed to the UFC, he called out eveyone and they responded. It's all part of 'The Askren Experience'. It gets attention and people talking, it is what Ben does best. It sells fights and people love his antics and 'WWE' style call outs.

Two Men who are excellent in their choosen field, Will Compete against each other to see what and who is better, Wrestling or BJJ.
This will be a 5 round Grappling fight, unless Both Ben and Demian decide to throwdown from the opening bell, but I think that's unlikely.
Can Ben Askren Prove to the Fans and critics that he belongs in the UFC and get a win over Maia?
