Stamp Fairtex is the first ever Two Sport World Champion in ONE Championship, having both the Atomweight Muay Thai and Kickboxing titles. She made history earlier on this year by doing so in a 5 round War at ONE's Call To Greatness but shes not stopping there. Stamp has her sights on becoming a 3 Sport World Champion when she transitions into MMA. The North Eastern Muay Thai Champion has an impressive Muay Thai record of 62-15-5 but has been training MMA daily in the Fairtex gym. She has upped her BJJ and Wrestling training knowing that she will eventually start competing. Stamp Fairtex grew up working on her parent's fruit farm and thought to herself that this was her life. She has been training Muay Thai since she was 5 years old but in Thailand, Womens Muay Thai is looked down on. Having the passion and drive, and to prove people wrong, Stamp stuck to her training. She wanted to provide for her family and Muay Thai was the only way to bring home good money. At one point in her fighting carrer she actually ran out of opponents, because she was winning all of her bouts. Stamp see's herself as an important figure in this sport, breaking down barriers and being the only women to train in Muay Thai at her gym, Stamp wants to change the way people look at Womens Muay Thai, and being on the ONE World stage is proving that.
Stamp Fairtex is making her return to MMA this weekend at ONE Championship's event Dreams Of Gold in front of her home crowd in Thailand where shes faces India's Asha Roka, who is currently undefeated in Boxing and is more well rounded in other Martial Arts, compared to Stamp. Can Asha upset Stamps return to MMA and set her back from her goal? or Will Stamp defeat Asha and continue on her Journeys to make History?
