As I said before in my last article from earlier this week, Cowboy Cerrone vs Justin Gaejthe is the(should be) original BMF title fight because both men are Warriors when they step into the octagon. This is the ultimate fan favourite fight, and in two ways it's good.The First we know exactly how this will play out, straight up brawl. The second is, only one will come out the victor and that upsets me, because I love both Cowboy and Gaejthe, but that's the fight game for you. I dont have to breakdown Justin Gaejthe for you's, we all know exactly what we expect when he fights. Gaejthe literally throws caution to the wind and gives everything in the octagon, he's wild, unpredictable and isn't afraid to throwdown. This is where Gaejthe can catch Cowboy early, If Gaejthe comes out the gate swinging, he will put Cowboy on the back-foot straight away.
Now we all know once Cowboy gets a little pressure on him and takes a few shots, he slows down and goes into defence mode, and doesn't engage as much. This is where Gaejthe can be Gaejthe and unload everything onto Cowboy. This might be a quick fight tonight but Gaejthe better watch that Gas tank of his and not unleash his arsenal all at once, if this goes any longer then 2 or 3 rounds and especially how Gaejthe performs that could be his downfall in the fight, What he does is awesome and entertaining but its takes alot of energy to do that. Gaejthe wants to perform for the crowd so expect him to tonight is his way. WAR Gaejthe!
Cowboy's Muay Thai will come in Handy
Cowboy Cerrone is One of the most talented and popular MMA ever to grace the octagon, He puts on fights and like Gaejthe is not afraid of a fight and when it comes to it, he is all in. Now for this fight Cowboy will have to be ready for everything and anything with Justin Gaejthe. This is where I think Cowboy's Muay Thai will come in handy. Cowboy will have to weather the storm with Gaejthe first, Keep his distance and chop down Gaejthe with leg kicks and keep him at bay, hurt the legs early on and that will slow Gaejthe down. Clinches will probably be in effect aswell, stop and start with Gaejthe, Clinches aren't just to land the knee or elbows, it disturbs the rhythm of a fighter, confuses them. If Cowboy can do that, he has the fight in his favour.
Cowboy isnt afraid to pile on the pressure, but if he works on Gaejthe's legs and drags this fight into the later rounds, Cowboy has this.
