He's on top of the list and he is wildy regarded to be not just one but The Greatest MMA Fighter of All Time. This weekend at ONE:CENTURY, Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson will take on Danny Kingad in the Flyweight World Gran Prix final. Mighty Mouse made his debut back in March of this year at ONE: A New Era when he defeated Yuya Wakamatsu in the second round by submission. It was exactly the debut the fans and ONE Championship wanted. With that win Mighty Mouse advanced into the Quarter finals of the Flyweight Gran Prix and a huge sigh of relief came after his debut.

I'm not going to go into detail about Mighty Mouse's carrer before ONE because everyone knows that already and it has be written thousands of times. What I want to write about is, how this change of scenery for Mighty Mouse actually suits him more. Mighty Mouse is a true Martial Artist at heart and it was always his dream to compete over in Asia at some point in his career. He said he wanted to fight in the land where Martial Arts started. As much as he appreciated competing at home in America, he never got the recognition he truly deserved.

Mighty Mouse always wanted to Compete in Asia and wanted to fight in front of fans that appreciate the true form of Martial Arts( respectfully of course) and test himself more, as he completely cleaned out the entire Flyweight division in the UFC. It just so happened that an opportunity arose for Mighty Mouse, which was not only a shock to him but the entire MMA World. As a historic trade happened between both UFC and ONE Championship. This was Mighty Mouse's opportunity, to fight in the biggest MMA promotion in Asia. It was settled, The trade was done, Mighty Mouse was going to ONE Championship. Now as I said,After his debut, there was a huge sigh of relief. The butterflies where gone and Mighty Mouse performance was flawless as usual. He would compete again at ONE:Dawn Of Heroes against Tatsumitsu Wada in the semi-finals of the Flyweight Gran Prix. Mighty Mouse would go all three rounds with Wada and walk away with the decision. It wasn't an easy win for Mighty Mouse as he had to overcome Wada's height and reach advantage, it was a tough fight but it put him through to the finals at ONE:Century.

This will be Mighty Mouse's toughest test to date, Danny Kingad is on an 6 fight win streak and only has been defeated once in his MMA carrer. Kingad is a dangerous, explosive and aggressive fighter. He not only a threat standing up but has outstanding ground game with some of his wins coming by submission. Mighty Mouse will have his hands full in this fight but don't expect him to take his foot of the pedal now.
A win this weekend at ONE:CENTURY for Mighty Mouse will not only be huge, but winning another title in another promotion would make a statement and cement his legacy ever-further as The Greatest MMA Fighter of All Time.
Mighty Mouse vs Danny Kingad will be the Co-Main Event on ONE:CENTURY part one.
Don't miss the GOAT compete.
He is on the edge of making history...
again.
